Fitness Clubs at School!

This is officially the time of year when Johnson-WIlliams Middle School kicks of our "Cougar Fit Club"! This is a very important time of year in my opinion because it gives students access to another way to learn about exercise. Physical Education is great but it is not a perfect system for making sure students get the daily exercise they need throughout the week so I believe a fitness club at your school is a step in the right direction. Not only does it give them a chance to exercise but it allows them different ways to do it. We do anything from cross-fit style workouts, endurance training, and even the insanity/t25 home workout videos. The point of our club is to make sure we teach our students how to be active outside of school and this is a very good start. If you do not have your very own club yet I recommend it and if I can help your school out in any way let me know! If you already have one share some of your ideas so we all can make our students lives better! The more we share the more we learn!
