The state of Physical Education

This will be my first ever post in a blog so don't get on my to much. I'm really not great with grammar or punctuation but well give it a shot anyways.

- The first topic that I wanted to talk about would be the state I believe Physical Education is in. There are great educators like the ones who read this but on the other hand there are some out there that give P.E. a bad name. The way I see it and from interacting with other people (some in my school some not) I believe that we are seen as basically the bathroom break of education. We give core teachers a break from teaching...(90 minutes in my case) but have most people not take that time seriously. If you read the about me section of this blog you might have read that I do admit that I do not know everything but from some research that I have read I do know that Physical Education is vital to the students academic success. I wont make this incredibly wrong and keep it short but to me this is a very important topic that we as Physical Education Teachers cannot ignore. Thank you again for stopping bye and of course I look forward to interacting with each and everyone of you.
